March 2010
Today is International Women's Day 2010 We want to move away from the constant barrage of negative topics when it comes to women in India. Not that we believe that these issues like dowry, domestic violence, trafficking, discrimination etc that afflict women are unimportant, but because we believe that concurrently there is a need to spend as much energy on being proactive and taking some positive action to change the little worlds in which we live and operate. Share with us your ideas and little steps that you are taking or planning to take to make Women of India a power that makes us proud. We want to map the
women of India resource worldwide: online and in person. Our themes for
this year are: We are planning
workshops on these topics in our community and at our work places. This is our community lets make it come alive! Harriet Silva Vidyasagar |
